One more time with feeling || Eric & Diana

“With charms like that you could get into some trouble there, partner.” Diana teased. Once Eric had met her at the window she made sure to slide well over giving him enough room. She watched carefully ready to lend a hand if needed as he made his way over to her. “Watch yourself, I know it’s an odd meeting place but I find it’s an opportune place to let my head clear.” she shrugged as she answered. “Not long, you came by just a few minutes since I got up here. Just in time to help me distract myself, you see, I’m quite bored.” she grinned up at him. Diana stretched her hands above her head before placing them behind her head and leaning backwards to lay down. She stared at the clouds a moment before turning her attention back towards Eric. 

“Trouble, hmm?” He asked as he got himself comfortable. “Now why would that get me into trouble?” He smiled as she went on. Leave it to Diana to be on a roof to clear her head. He usually just listened to music. “You could have told me to come over sooner if you were so bored,” he watched as she stretched and laid down. He followed her by doing the same, trying his best to let go of all the nerves that went through his body from being so high up. His eyes focused on the white puffs above them and he couldn’t stop from smiling at the scenery. It really was beautiful. He turned to look at her with another grin. “So, when did you find this place?”

jojocameron:

I..I..I don’t know.  I haven’t really thought about it before. Now that you mention it, there could be a way to become human.. Maybe I should ask the other faeries about this or find some secret old collection of faerie documents that would give me an answer.

I’ll help you look if that’s what you really want!

jojocameron:

Embarrassed? That’s adorable, Eric. Sounds fantastic! Man, all we need now is a theme song.

I know, I know, I know that I shouldn’t think that way but sometimes I just can’t help it, Eric.  But I don’t want new people to be around me.  I want Lexi, you, Olive, and all these people here.  Sometimes I want to be human you know.  Being a faerie is fun and all but living forever is getting tiring.  [frowns]

Well, I mean..is there a way to become human?

Yes, forever alone.  [frowns]  One day I’m going to lose almost everyone that I care about and there’s nothing that I can do about it.  I’m going to lose the people that matter to me the most and I cannot bear that thought, Eric.. I just can’t.

Don’t think that way, Jojo. Just think about how many people you touch when you are in their lives..and more new people will keep coming into your life.
